El Club de Campo Laguna de los Cisnes se ubica en una de esas áreas de la Laguna del Sauce que todavía son habitadas por una riquísima fauna autóctona,que incluye nutrias, lobitos de río, zorros, hurones, carpinchos y una gran diversidad de aves de los más variados tipos (desde los magníficos y gritones Chajás, hasta el bellísimo Churrinche (petirrojo), pasando por los Federales, Boyeros, Viuditas, Tijeretas y los vigilantes Teros.
También es lugar de visita estival de ciertas especies de aves migratorias, como las garzas rosadas, los gansos blancos, varias especies de patos y en especial por los elegantes cisnes de cuello negro que le dan el nombre a esa sección de la laguna.
Todas esas especies desde hace mucho tiempo pueblan el área otorgándole una personalidad distintiva pero fundamentalmente, creando un ecosistema que forma parte del activo disfrutable de el Club de Campo.
Es claro que el equilibrio y la preservación de dicho ecosistema deben ser cuidados por todos quienes lo visiten o decidan transformarse en propietarios de algunas de sus chacras. Es importante valorar y respetar el hábitat natural de dichas especies.
